Mission Statement
The Strategische Erfolgspositionen (SEP) initiative, also called Strategic Excellence Projects, is a three-year program to promote innovation in selected areas of scientific research through intense cooperation on large-scale projects, both across disciplines and even across university boundaries. These Projects shall initiate new research endeavors leading to the creation of new centers of excellence and to novel educational programs.
